Tyler Downes is a personal trainer, a police officer, and former United States Marine. He has been in sports all his life and in the fitness industry for 10+ years. Tyler played NCJAA Soccer as a goalkeeper. After graduating college with a degree in criminal justice Tyler went on to serve in the United States Marines Corps.
For the past 10 years Tyler has been consistent in the gym building his own goals. Tyler competed for 3 years as a powerlifter placing 1st at a local competition in the 93 kg weight class in 2019. While serving as a police officer starting in 2016, Tyler also served in the National Guard as a recruit fitness instructor.
In 2019, Tyler became a certified personal trainer through the International Sports Science Association. His passion went beyond reaching his own goals and wanted to help others. Since then, he has worked with dozens of clients online and in person to reach their goals. He specializes in strength training and weight loss. He understands the hardships of first responders as well and is able to develop programs that a first responder can be confident in doing.
